A new life for a classic in Maspalomas

At Sholeo Lodges cwe believe that traveling is much more than staying in a hotel. It’s about connecting with the destination, sharing moments with others, and discovering a different way of experiencing the journey.
That is why we are especially proud to announce that, thanks to the co-funding of the European Union, we have completed the transformation of a historic property in southern Gran Canaria. After months of work, the new Sholeo Lodges Maspalomas opened its doors in July 2025, offering an innovative and sustainable hotel in Maspalomas, designed to be open and welcoming to the community.

The renovation was not only about upgrading facilities: it has breathed new life into an emblematic building, turning it into a vibrant meeting point for young travelers, families, and digital nomads. We incorporated energy-efficient solutions, new social areas, and leisure concepts that reflect the values of Sholeo Lodges: flexibility, contemporary design, and an authentic travel style.
This project benefits not only our guests but also the destination itself, strengthening Gran Canaria’s image as a place where tradition and modernity coexist, where hospitality is reinvented, and where every experience contributes to the island’s sustainable development.
